St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market to host First Art and Wine Walk
August 11th 

 

The St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market will host its first Art and Wine
Walk Thursday, August 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Aycock Barn in the heart
of the Old Arabi Historic District. This event will be the second Thursday
of each month and will showcase various artistic and culinary talents
prevalent in St. Bernard Parish. Local artists, crafters and restaurants
will be participating.  

 

The Art and  Wine Walk offers an excellent opportunity for residents and
visitors to easily experience art and enjoy local culinary tastes and live
entertainment. For the inaugural event, guests will enjoy live entertainment
by Desmian Barnes and his sister Robin Barnes. Children are welcome to cool
down in the outdoor pop-up fountains. 

 

Currently, applications are not being accepted for additional vendors.
However vendors interested in being on a waiting list may contact Market
Manager Ashley Proze at (504) 355-4442 or stop by the Visitor Information
Center at 409 Aycock Street in Arabi, Louisiana.  The market can be accessed
off of St. Claude Avenue by turning south at the signs that say St. Bernard
Visitor Center and Seafood and Farmers Market.
