Today, 6:30 p.m., at Murphy Oil Building, 1615 E. Judge Perez Drive,
Chalmette. Topics at the monthly meeting are expected to include information
on the new air monitor on Ventura Drive.  Public Meetings with Murphy Oil
are scheduled for the third Tuesday on the month.

Dear Ms. Ambeau:
 
This is a request for a Public Meeting with LDEQ in Question and Answer
Format on the Murphy oil-water discharge permit.  LDEQ should require
increased storm water capacity,  including added rain water storage tanks
and berms around the storm water ponds.  Our neighborhood canals and nearby
Central Wetlands should not be fouled by discharges from a refinery.  
 
Please allow us 10 additional days after the Q&A Meeting to submit written
