St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market to host Art and Wine Walk and Shop
St. Bernard Kick-off Thursday 5 to 9 p.m.



The St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market will host an Art and Wine Walk
Thursday, November 17 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Aycock Barn in the heart of
the Old Arabi Historic District. With this event, the market, in partnership
with the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce will kick off 2011 Shop St.
Bernard. The Chamber program is meant to encourage people to do their
holiday shopping at St. Bernard retail locations.



The market will include local artists, crafters and restaurants, including
several exciting new vendors, who will participate and showcase various
artistic and culinary talents prevalent in St. Bernard.



The Art and Wine Walk offers an excellent opportunity for residents and
visitors to easily experience art and enjoy local culinary tastes and live
entertainment.



Art and restaurant vendor space is limited. Vendors interested in more
information and an application may contact the Market Coordinator Amanda
Hardesty at (504) 355-4442 or stop by the Visitor Information Center at 409
Aycock Street in Arabi, Louisiana. Inquiries may also be may by email to
market at sbpg.net. The market can be accessed off of St. Claude Avenue by
turning south at the signs that say St. Bernard Visitor Center and Seafood
and Farmers Market.
