Westley, even if the jump "back" to 70 MPH has resulted in an increase in
accidents, it is still the will of "we the people" to decide which speed
limits we wish to establish for ourselves.  This is a huge area of concern
we should have of radical liberals like Obama and the Democratic Party who
are constantly trying to circumvent the legislative process (Congress) by
creating this governmental bureaus to oversee everything and have executive
authority at establishing regulation without having to obtain the consent
(of the people) through Congress.  Obama knows if liberals end up losing
power, the only way they will be able to control people is through these
autonomous agencies  - such as this new federal consumer agencies where the
Wall Street Reform Act says they can change whatever laws they want without
having to get Congressional approval.  This is absurd and will be challenged
in the courts.

The decision to regulate anything in our lives should always rest with the
people through the legislative process.
