Nunez Community College in St. Bernard Parish honors graduates today

Nunez Community College will hold a commencement ceremony today at 7:30 p.m.
at the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center in Chalmette. Two hundred and
forty-seven students will receive 312 associate degrees, certificates or
both. Chancellor Thomas R. Warner will preside over the ceremony, conferring
the degrees and awarding the certificates. 

Michael Hecht, president and CEO of Greater New Orleans Inc., will be the
commencement speaker. Remarks will be given by Robert Brown of the Louisiana
Community & Technical College System Board of Supervisors.
