St. Bernard Parish Housing Office will be accepting applications for the
Housing Choice Vouchers 

 

St. Bernard Parish Housing & Redevelopment Housing Choice Voucher Program,
in accordance with regulations outlined by the Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) and in accordance with the Parish's Administrative
Plan will be accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher waitlist.


 

Applications for the Housing Choice Voucher waitlist will be accepted at the
Sigur Center Ballroom 8425 W. Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette on the
following days and times:

 

Wednesday, January 9, 2013 (9:00am - 3:00pm)

Thursday, January 10, 2013 (9:00am - 3:00pm)

 

Current state issued Driver's license, Identification card or passport must
be presented.

 

The Housing Choice Voucher Program is a Federal Housing Program funded by
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The program provides
housing assistance for very low to extremely low income families in the form
of rental subsidies.
