Tales on Tuesdays


 

Now that school is back in session and folks are settling into fall
routines, the St. Bernard Parish Library would like to invite families to
the upcoming sessions of its Tales on Tuesdays story program beginning on
September 24th and continuing through December 10th.  

Two sessions of Tales on Tuesdays will be held each week for children 3
years of age and older.  The earlier time is set for 1 p.m. and is geared
for younger listeners.  The evening session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is
open to children of all ages, but will target school-aged children.   All
story programs will take place at the St. Bernard Parish Library, located at
2600 Palmisano Blvd., in Chalmette.  Sessions will run about 45 minutes and
will introduce children to literature through storybooks, poetry, flannel
boards, finger plays, and participatory activities.  

Story time is a free service provided by the St. Bernard Parish Library.
