Authorities identify Violet man shot twice, killed while riding bicycle

Authorities in St. Bernard Parish released the identity of a 30-year-old
Violet man who was shot to death Friday night while riding his bicycle.
Joseph Cosse was found face down in the front lawn of a residence in the
2800 block of Tara Drive, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's
Office.

The shooting Friday night occurred in the "same general area" of a shooting
that occurred three nights earlier, according to the St. Bernard Sheriff's
Office. An arrest in that case occurred within 24 hours, according to the
Sheriff's Office.
