St. Bernard Parish Officials dedicate the walkway at Val Riess Park 

in honor of longtime coach and mentor Charlie Reppel 

 

St. Bernard Parish President David Peralta and members of the St. Bernard
Sports Hall of Fame dedicated the walkway at Val Riess Complex as "The
Charlie Reppel Way".  The sign was dedicated in honor of Charles Reppel who
was a longtime coach and mentor to many children in St. Bernard Parish.

 

The St. Bernard Sports Hall of Fame and Gulf Coast Bank will host the 18th
annual Hall of Fame golf tournament on Sunday, October 20, 2013.  The event
will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Harbor in Slidell.  Registration is
$100/player or $400/foursome, which incl

udes food, beverages and beer throughout the day. The Hall of Fame will also
honor former board member Charlie Reppel at this year's tournament.  For
