[StBernard] St. Bernard Parish Library's Saturday Morning Family Fun

What do a runaway gingerbread man, three little pigs and the St. Bernard
Parish Library have in common?  You can find out when you attend the
library's Saturday Morning Family Fun Program on February 15th.  Library
friends of all ages are going to want to 'huff and puff' their way to the
library's Chalmette location at 2600 Palmisano Blvd. to help the Jack and
Jill Players as they bring to life two favorite children's stories as we
celebrate Tell a Fairy Tale Day.  Lots of enthusiastic audience members will
be needed to catch the runaway characters during this free hour-long
interactive musical program.  The fun starts and 10:30 a.m. so make sure you
arrive on time to get a 'head-start' on front row seating!

Jennifer Harageones Patterson and Seth Trosclair combine their talents in
the performances of the Jack and Jill Players.  They have worked together
for several years in the New Orleans area as well as the North Shore.  Their
performances include several theatrical productions such as "Fantasticks,"
"Dearly Departed," and "Pirates of Penzance."  They stage productions for
groups such as Playmakers, Covington Children's Chorus, St. Tammany Arts
Association, and C.A.S.T (Creative Arts of St. Tammany).  Jennifer and Seth
are an energetic team with a special gift of being able to create a quick
rapport with audience members of all ages. 

Funding for this free performance by has been made possible by a grant from
the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development,
Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the
Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the St. Tammany Commission
on Cultural Affairs.
