Former New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister and current Saints
linebacker Will Smith will serve as the celebrity knights for the Knights of
Nemesis' ninth annual parade Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. through St. Bernard Parish.

"It is an honor to have these great football players as our Celebrity
Knights," President Billy Showalter said.

McAllister, a standout running back, played eight seasons for the Saints.
Smith, a standout defensive end and outside linebacker, suffered a knee
injury in the Saints' third preseason game in 2013, against the Houston
Texans on Aug. 25. He was placed on injured reserve.

McAllister and Smith will be on the third float in the parade preceded by
2014 Goddess Nemesis Leighann Fernandez riding on float 1 and 2014 Royal
Knight Perry Nicosia, riding on float 2.

This year's parade will feature 16 floats with 21 marching units and 250
riders. The riders will be throwing a special parade T-shirt, medallion
beads, cups, and other novelty items.

For information about the parade, contact Billy Showalter, 504-583-3998.
