St. Bernard Parish to Auction 136 Properties Parish Wide Selling Absolute to Highest Bidder

The auction is open to the public with no restrictions. Anyone can attend and bid on the properties.





St. Bernard Parish Government (SBPG) has partnered with Ameribid, LLC to host a LIVE Auction of 136 residential properties on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Registration will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. The auction will be held in the Arabi Elementary School Gymnasium, 7200 Alexander Ave., Arabi, LA. Convenient and free parking is located on-site.



Properties will sell absolute to the highest bidder regardless of price. NO MINIMUM, NO RESERVE. Interested bidders are encouraged to visit www.ameribid.com <http://www.ameribid.com> /SBP for property information and pre-registration instructions. Successful bidders will be limited to 4 properties.



Properties include 8 single family homes, and 128 development lots. The properties are located throughout the Parish including: Chalmette, Violet, Meraux, Arabi and St. Bernard. A non-refundable minimum deposit of $1,000 for each development lot and $3,000 for each house will be required as the Minimum Required Deposit (see property list for specific deposit requirement). The deposit is due the day of the auction and must be in the form of cashier’s check, money order, cash or certified funds. There is no cost to bid and no Buyer’s Premium. There will be a Buyer’s Seminar on Thursday, March 27, 2014 7:00 PM. at the Council Chambers, located at 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr., Chalmette, LA. Free parking on site. Registration begins at 6:30 PM.



There are 8 structures that will be open for inspection prior to the auction on Saturday, March 29th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
