A third New Orleans man was arrested Thursday (June 12) in connection with a
May 31 armed robbery of an Arabi business. St. Bernard Parish Sheriff Jimmy
Pohlmann said that one more man, the suspected getaway driver, still is
wanted for the crime.

Mario O. Westbrook, 37, of New Orleans, was taken into custody early
Thursday by a U.S. Marshal's Service Fugitive Task Force in New Orleans,
Pohlmann said.

Westbrook was being held in New Orleans on Thursday afternoon awaiting his
transfer to the St. Bernard Parish Prison, where he was to be booked with an
armed robbery charge, according to the Sheriff's Office.

He is one of three men suspected of carrying guns into the Arabi business on
the 7500 block of West Judge Perez Drive at about 10:50 a.m. May 31. The
trio demanded money and robbed the store and several customers, the sheriff
said.

No one was injured, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The other two New Orleans men already booked with armed robbery in
connection with that May 31 incident are Kendrick Wells, 36, captured
Tuesday by the Marshal's Service, and Rodrick Natteel, 36, arrested on
Saturday by sheriff's detectives, who also recovered the getaway car used,
the sheriff said.

Natteel and Wells each were being held on Thursday afternoon in the St.
Bernard Prison in lieu of $200,000 bonds.
