Hostage situation in St. Bernard Parish ends
Man held in Violet house, deputies say

VIOLET, La. -A man was held against his will Monday night inside a house in
Violet, authorities said.

A man was questioned. The incident began around 8 p.m. near Edgar and
Kenneth drives, authorities said.

The names of the men involved were not released. Police did not release any
information about charges.
