The New Orleans Ballet Association (NOBA), in partnership with Chalmette
Refining, L.L.C. and the St. Bernard Parish School Board, is proud to offer

for the 2014-15 school year.

Registration for new students will take place on Monday, August 25th, from
5-7 PM at the Chalmette High School Cultural Arts Center, 1100 East Judge
Perez Drive. Students can continue to register through September 20, or
until classes are filled, by contacting Susan Bensinger at
sbensinger at nobadance.com or 504-522-0996, ext. 207.

. A copy of the student's birth certificate must be submitted for
students ages 6 and 7.

Academic year classes begin in September. Ballet classes are offered on
Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chalmette High School
Cultural Arts Center, 1100 East Judge Perez Drive. Students are placed in
the appropriate class based on both age and experience level.

The 2014-2015 Academic Year dance classes include quality instruction in
ballet technique, along with choreography sessions in preparation for a
winter concert on Thursday, January 8, 2015, and a spring concert (date TBA)
at the Chalmette High School Cultural Arts Center.

The St. Bernard After-School Ballet Program is designed to cultivate a
child's appreciation for the arts, while building self-esteem through
challenges that speak to the child's individual growth. Striving to serve
children and their families, the New Orleans Ballet Association, Chalmette
Refining, L.L.C. and the St. Bernard Parish School Board partnered in 1995
to offer this program for the youth of St. Bernard Parish.
