Talbert Pipes- Last of the Mortas! (at least for the moment)

Hello all!  I write with news of the latest website update - I've just
posted four more new Morta Collectors, in a variety of shapes, to the
catalog here:

For folks who are local to Greensboro, I've also put two new ones at Pipe &
Pint, should anyone want to stop by there and have a look.  These will be
the last mortas for a while - I had intended to keep making them until I
used up the last of the blocks in this box I've been working from, but I
can tell that I'm not far from getting tired of working on so many similar
pipes, and am switching off to something else while I'm still enjoying them
and have enthusiasm for them. I really, really try to avoid ever letting
any workshop projects turn into slogs... It's odd, but I almost feel as if
it's doing a disservice to the potential buyer, to sell him something that
I was just sort of, "Ugh, get this finished" about, so I always try to move
back and forth between different kinds of pipes to keep my enthusiasm high.
This doesn't mean these are the last mortas ever, just that it's probably
going to be a few months at least before there are any more.

I've only had it for a few days, but have already enjoyed the ease of
uploading quick photos.  Thus far, it's mainly workshop shots, tools,
hardware, and a mix of pipes both old and new.  I will probably start
regularly posting progress shots of new pipes that are in the works, for
anyone who is interested... It's certainly easier than taking camera photos
and then upping them to our Facebook page.  The Talbert Pipes Instagram
page will be pretty much exclusively pipe stuff, with a few random asides
tossed in for color.  I may set up a personal Instagram page later, given
how much fun I've been having with it so far, but I'm not sure I want the
bother of account switching.  We'll see how it goes.  In the meantime, give
me some followers!  The bigger the audience, the more impetus to keep
posting.
