Talbert Pipes- A small update

Hello all!  I know we've been quiet for a while and there hasn't been much
news, but I did want to send a quick notice that I've just posted a rare
Grade 5 Ligne Bretagne billiard to the site catalog, along with a couple of
others that I can't remember if I ever sent a notice on or not (It's been
busy),

We've been distracted lately due to the ancient belt on our ancient buffing
machine breaking, which has set off a time-consuming adventure/education in
how to disassemble hundred year old French pipemaking machinery.  You can

The jury is still out on whether we'll be able to remove the shaft to put a
new pulley on, or switch to some sort of pulley repair instead (tried Dap
Weldwood already, which lasted about 5 minutes of use).  In any event, I
just wanted to say hello and let folks know we hadn't vanished, we're just
mired in shop repair and some commissions and also refinishing our back
deck in our "spare" time.  I should probably start another blog on home
repairs...
