The chat about the different woods to use for spoons has gotten me to
thinking. I was wondering if anyone out there has suggestions on types of non-toxic
glues. Considering making salad forks out of laminated cherry and maple.
Also wondering if this is a good idea. Any thoughts or comments would be
wonderful.

Elmers white glue and other brands using the same components are not only
non-toxic but have been used by quite a few professionals in cabinet and
furniture applications. My only problem is that if spoons are to be used as
spoons, rather than decorative, I would worry more about the spoons sitting in dish
water for any extended amt of time. I don't know if the elmers would hold
up.
