[Woodcarver] canes

I don't know if it would work for your cane, but ferrules made from copper pipe, cut and polished to size work well for ferrules on lathe tools.

Try visiting your local pool hall and ask for their old pool cues, they
make great walking sticks and if you have a lathe you can turn a neat
handle for the top.......as for ferrules, try Lee Valley.
