New Brass Model Announcements

[NW Modeling List]

The North Bank Line in Oregon has announced two new HO scale brass projects that may be of interest to modelers of the Norfolk and Western.  Please see the two flyers attached to this message.




The first project is a series of Business Cars with the following catalog numbers, car number and names:




NBL-10029.1 N&W Business Car #300 “Roanoke” Maroon 

NBL-10029.2 N&W Business Car #300 “Roanoke” Blue

NBL-10029.3 N&W Business Car #300 “Ocean”







The North Bank Line has resurrected a project that was originally sponsored by Union Terminal Imports before they exited the brass market in 2020.  The North Bank Line will import the Wabash Railroad’s City of Kansas City passenger train in sets and several individual cars.  The offering includes a six car set of the N&W’s Banner Blue and one matching Business Car:




NBL-NW-1 Norfolk and Western 6-car ex COFC painted Banner Blue/natural aluminum w/narrow width diaphragms.

NBL-NW-2 Ex Wabash business car #400 as Norfolk and Western #400 THE EXPORTER.







BPL Brassworks in Wisconsin (https://railmodel.com) and ReSourced Rails in Illinois (https://resourcedrails.com) are taking reservations.
