[game_preservation] Quarterly newsletter?

Hey all,

Would it be a good idea once we get some more of the projects going to 
do a quarterly newsletter of sorts? I've seen the recent IGDA monthly 
update, and the AI, Casual and Writing SIGs do this.

I know my email to this list about updating here with news went down 
like a lead balloon, but this is more aimed at people who don't know 
about this mailing list anyway. Good idea or not?

PS: I also intended to get participation up on the IGDA Preservation 
/forum/, which this would help with. Yes, we have a forum, although we 
never use it (just like the Writing SIG in fact). Although, perhaps at 
some point in the future, if the forums are updated to allow email 
updates from forums (so it acts like a mailing list) and you can send 
replies, we can migrate to it. Doubtless this would be a while however, 
but I will make sure to suggest it.
