I had a really great time at the Providence CD release party last
night. I hope that those of you who were there also enjoyed yourselves!

This morning I got a couple of pieces of nice news. One is that Chris
Conti has written a nice little article about me in the current
Providence Phoenix; you can read it at <http://thephoenix.com/Providence/Music/93009-From-kidneys-to-kittens/
>. I also learned that Whole Wheat Radio, a wiki-based, all-request
radio station operating out of Alaska, has put my CD into their
system, so listeners can now request songs from it: <http://wholewheatradio.org/wiki/index.php/Albums:Mistaken_Identity
> (We live in strange and wonderful times, don't we?)

The busy month of November continues with three more shows this week
and the next:

Thursday November 19 -- ELECTRIC KILLDEVILS SHOW W/SPECIAL GUESTS JACK
HANLON AND CHRIS TURNER
--------------------
WHERE: Nick-a-Nees, 75 South Street, Providence, RI
WHEN: 9 pm to midnight

With our usual bass player Jeff Keithline unfortunately unavailable,
we took the opportunity to ask Jack Hanlon of the Amazing Crowns to
sit in on bass, and world-class harmonica wizard Chris Turner will
also be joining us for much of the night. I can't wait!

Saturday November 21 -- MASSACHUSETTS CD RELEASE PARTY WITH KATE
KATZBERG, ANNE'S CORDIAL, AND THE SUPERCHIEF TRIO!
--------------------
WHERE: Pioneer Brewing Company at Hyland Orchard, 199 Arnold Road,
Sturbridge, MA 01518
WHEN: 6-10 pm

If you know any folks in central Massachusetts (Sturbridge is about a
15 minute drive west of Worcester) who you think might be interested,
please feel free to forward them this email (or share the link to <http://music.jwgh.org/release.html
>) and encourage 'em to come!

This is an early evening show at a brewery with excellent locally-
produced beer. There'll be a potluck, so if you haven't had dinner
bring something to share and there should be some tasty food to
eat ... (I plan to bring some bread, a pizza or two, and perhaps a
homemade cheesecake if there's time.)

I asked some talented friends to help me celebrate and they all agreed
to help out, so I'm very pleased to be sharing the stage with Kate
Katzberg (a great singer and entertainer in Providence's folk scene),
Anne's Cordial (a folk/jazz trio that features great vocal harmonies),
and the Superchief Trio featuring Tom Ferraro (a swing/New Orleans
group who're going to let me sit in on a few songs).

I've put together a web page with more information about the show and
the musicians (including videos) at <http://music.jwgh.org/
release.html> for folks who are interested.

Wednesday November 25 -- ACOUSTIC KILLDEVILS SHOW
---------------------
WHERE: Two Jerks Pub and Grill, 446 Waterman Avenue, East Providence, RI
WHEN: 9 pm to midnight

Chris and Jake return to do an acoustic show at Two Jerks the day
before Thanksgiving. Come on down, have a hamburger and a drink, and
prepare yourself mentally and physically for Thursday's onslaught of
turkey!

There are more shows coming up after that as well, but I think that
will do for this email; however, as always, you can always find the
full list of shows I've got planned at <http://music.jwgh.org/
gigs.html>.

Well, I think that about covers it. Time to try to catch up on some
sleep! Thanks for reading.

Thanks,
Jacob Haller

PS. If you've acquired or listened to my CD, would like to help me
promote it, and have a few minutes to spare, please consider going to <http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/JacobHaller
> and writing a short review of it. (You'll need to register for a
CD Baby account if you don't have one.)
