Reservations for brass N&W 4-8-0 locomotives being solicited

Hi Dan, Others likely have detailed answers, but from photos I've seen the changeover happened in the early-to-mid 1950's. N&WHS archive photos show 429 with the newer, centered headlight and 8-wheel tender in 1954. A shot of 382 that same year shows it still had the high headlight but had gotten the 6-wheel tender. And the 379 had both modifications that same year.

Any idea when the (non-experimental) locomotives being offered had their headlights centered and four-wheel tenders replaced with six-wheel tenders?

I am just now aware of this offering to take reservations for new HO scale models with all the modern electronics for N&W 4-8-0 locomotives.  Of particular interest to me are the 1100 and 1112 "automatic" M-2 engines.

Personally, these are very pricey, but I would pay this for the M-2 automatics.  I've put in a reservation for one of each.
If these were mentioned in any of our HS communications, I missed it, so I am sharing this here just in case.  Looks like they aren't asking for money up front.
May not ever happen, but I definitely would like to see the M-2 automatics made.
Regards to all of you,Brent Greer
