[StBernard] Question for Craig

BJO,

Unfortunately, there are lots of discussions going on within the citizens
recovery group that have not been presented for consideration by the council
or parish government. These things should not be publicized as plans but
ideas. Many ideas will be suggested, but without the hard money to make
these ideas completable projects we may be selling people on more of a dream
than a reality.

Don't count on the parish buying out property along the refineries, unless a
newly found pot of money is available.

Craig,
The article from the Times Picayune below states that,"Nonresidential
buffers could be established adjacent to the parish's two refineries." My
parents live on Munster Blvd and would like to return, but are hesitant to
start working on their home due to the uncertainty of the parish. When will
decisions from the article below be made? How long will people have to wait
until the these decisions on the future of the parish will be made?

Thanks,
BJO
