I hope this will be of some benefit.  We believe that our washout was
inadvertently covered when the side of the house was cemented.  I had a
plumber come out and he told me to look for the bathroom vents on the roof
and the washout should line up with one of them.  In our case, we never
could find it and assume, based on the vents on the roof, that the washout
is directly in front of our house, but in the garden under bushes that we
planted 15 years ago, so attempting to get to the washout is virtually
impossible until we can get a bobcat to remove the bushes. 
 
Although FEMA did not originally agree to this, we were fortunate to have a
half-gath in the garage, so we removed the toilet and the trailer company
ran the PVC to that sewer line.
 
I don't know if this helps any, but I wanted to pass it on just in case.
