The drains have been vacumed out and are supposed to be monitored and
cleaned again.  Every rain seems to clog the drains again.

Does anyone know the status or has anyone see the parish's contractor 
for vacuuming out the storm drains? The heavy rains last week produced 
lots of localized street flooding, not deep but quite a nuisance. 
Perhaps it hasn't been awarded yet. Heavy rains will be here again this 
weekend and only continue as we get closer to April and May. Our 
neighborhood has been clearing away the debris at the drains, but most 
of them are chocked full of debris already.
