When in Saginaw, TX, I called Associated Catholic Charities since all 10
members of my family who were affected by Katrina are Catholic. They
referred me to about 5 churches---all of other faiths---none Catholic.

I agree with you fully.  I was born and raised Catholic but I must say they
have not done anything to help us compared to the Baptist churches.  This
started while we were evacuated in Texas.  Not one Catholic organization did
anything for us -- not that we expected it. But, you would have thought
they'd be the first ones to come forward to help people.
 
I hope they are helping in other ways we don't know about.
