[StBernard] Looking toward the future - remembering history

Are the water test results he quotes in this article for real? Somehow, I
have a hard time believing that that water in St. Bernard can really be this
bad and no one is aware of it.  I know our parish has problems but, surely,
if those issues were dangerous as these numbers indicate we would know about
it.  Right?
 
Does anyone know anything concrete about water quality in St. Bernard?
