Thanks for the reply.  I don't feel so bad.  Up until this point, I have
been pleased with my dealings with Bellsouth.  I have a feeling that is
going to change. 
I tracked down a Bellsouth worker at the office on Saro Lane in Poydras, he
said it would be a while.  He suggested having my calls forwarded to my cell
phone for  a few dollars a month.  That is until, I have to pay my cell
phone bill!

A friend of mine who also lives on Saro lane has Cox as her provider and her
phone and cable work!  Not according to them, but she called my cell and her
682 # showed up on the ID!  I have a call in to them and they said they
could provide service.  I'll post what happens!
