Louisiana hurricane preparation guide available throughout the area With
hurricane season only a couple weeks away, state, local and federal
officials are urging Louisiana residents to not wait to make preparations. 

The Southeast Louisiana Citizens Awareness and Disaster Evacuation Guide can
help. It is available for free at the following locations: 

- American Red Cross chapters in Metairie, at 3131 N. Interstate 10 Service
Road, and Covington, at 619 N. Tyler St., Suite D, Covington
- Lowe's, Home Depot and Wal-Mart locations across the metro area.
- Some post offices and libraries.
