You can call the assessor's office.  The residence list that is still above
the homestead exemption is down to 500 homes, compared to about 9,000 last
tax year.  Chances are that you will be in the clear.  There is no blanket
waiver of property taxes.  We are expecting about a 25% reduction in
collectible property taxes this year.

What is the story about the taxes?
 
I know I changed my address at the assessors office, have not received any
tax bill and we were told that the taxes were waived for 2005.
