PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO INVOLUNTARILY DEMOLISH STRUCTURES

THIS NOTICE WILL BE PUBLISHED ONLY ONCE!

On May 19, 2006, the Saint Bernard Parish Council endorsed Executive Order
No. 5-19-06-1 issued by the President of Saint Bernard Parish.  That Order
identifies and authorizes the INVOLUNTARY DEMOLITION of STRUCTURES and
CONTENTS located in public street and/or drainage right of ways because they
are a continuing hazard to the public health and safety.

The same Executive Order modified the procedures to authorize the
involuntary demolition and disposal of a structure and its contents located
in a public right of way and sets the time to take action to remove a
structure and its contents from a public right of way at seven calendar days
from the publication of this notice in the Legal Journal of Saint Bernard
Parish Government.

Department of Community Development.

The following structures have been identified as continuing hazards to the
public health and safety and will be demolished unless the owner or other
interested parties take action to completely remove the structures and their
contents from the public right of way BEFORE midnight June 2, 2006.

After midnight on June 2, 2006, any structure and contents remaining in a
public right of way is subject to immediate demolition and disposal without
further notice.
