The 100 dollars is a program through Habitat for Humanity.  It is not a
parish charge.  Habitat is underwriting the program and they are not
refusing vounteers over the money.

I've heard the same thing regarding the $100 a week?  I'm really hoping this
is a rumor because it's outrageous to charge any volunteer money even if it
is for lights, water, etc.  My understanding is that this is the same group
who is offering free meals.
 
Could you please clear this up?
