Craig,

You have told several people that are on the blighted list to call community
development and tell them of their plans for their property if they are
repairing.  There was an article or quote on this site (or maybe it was
nola.com) in which Mike Hunnicutt said people have to come to the community
center and make their intentions known.  He said he does not want people to
think they can just call and take care of it because they cannot.  He said
they have to come in person and bring proof of ownership and I guess tell
their plan. We have gutted our property, put a new roof, brought the
engineer's report of under 50% damage to the community center, and have
doors and windows ordered. We are on the blighted list. So what now?  Can we
just call or do we need to go there again?  Thanks.
