[StBernard] [LANDRIEU] Sen. Landrieu to Take Viewer Calls on C-SPAN Tomorrow.

United States Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., will tomorrow (Tuesday,
August 1) appear on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" to discuss S. 3711, the
Domenici-Landrieu Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act, which would open new
areas of the Gulf of Mexico to oil & gas production and share a significant
portion of the revenues with Louisiana and other coastal states for coastal
restoration and hurricane protection projects.  

 

The bill cleared a final procedural hurdle tonight with 72 senators voting
to end debate and move forward to an up-or-down vote on the bill itself,
currently scheduled for early tomorrow evening.

8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Central Time (9-9:30 Eastern) tomorrow.
