Jer,

I agree that Mr. Vitter has to answer to God and his wife and family. He has

to live with that and try to make it up to them and protect his children as
much as possible. That is not my concern with him. My concern is his
hypocrisy and him not being a good role model as you said. Also, him making

the our state look even worse than it already does with the likes of Gov.
Blanco, Mayor Nagin, William Jefferson, and Cleo Fields. I don't know know
how Cleo Fields escaped the wrath of the law after he was caught on tape
accepting that money. We didn't need Mr. Vitter giving any further black
eyes to our state.

I feel the reason Mr. Boasso went democratic instead of independent was so
he could have the hugh backing and support of the democratic party. That
will get him further along than being an independent. I think that is the
reasoning behind that. I feel he would probably be a conservative democrat
as a governor. There IS still such a rare thing. Sell out? Yes, but that
is the how it is in politics. It's a dirty, dirty game that I would not
want to be a part of. I'm very jaded in that respect, I guess. I feel that

nice guys finish last in the world of big politics, at least. Isn't that
awful for me to think? I'm not an idealist anymore. I feel that in order
to win any BIG political office, you need to be willing to cut some throats
to a certain degree and waffle around also. I know how that sounds, awful,
but it is still hard for me to believe that there are very many nice guys
left in politics, at least at the state and national level. I feel they all

learn how to play the game in a different world than you and I live in.

Laurie
