OFFICIAL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 
THE ST. BERNARD PARISH PLANNING COMMISSION, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION XIV OF THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR ST.
BERNARD PARISH AND THE ST. BERNARD PARISH COUNCIL, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF THE HOME RULE CHARTER, SECTION 2-11, SUB SECTION B, WILL HOLD
A PUBLIC HEARING ON TUESDAY, MARCH 25,2008 AT 4:00 P. M., IN THE C. A. O.
CONFERENCE ROOM LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE GOVERNMENT COMPLEX, 8201
WEST JUDGE PEREZ DRIVE, CHALMETTE, LOUISIANA, ON THE FOLLOWING PROPOSED
CHANGES TO THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE.

Petition of Murphy Oil USA for a zoning change from "C_1, (Neighborhood
Commercial and R-2, Two Family Residential) to "1-2 (Heavy Industrial)" for
the following described property: 
 
Two certain lots of ground situated in the Parish of St. Bernard, State of
Louisiana, in James Place Subdivision, designated as Lot Z-1-A and Lot Z-1-B
and one certain lot of ground situated in the Parish of St. Bernard, State
of Louisiana, in Corinne-Myrtle Grove Plantation, Township 13 South, Range
12 East, Southeast District, designated as Lot M-2. 
 
Lot Z-1-A measures 35.74 feet front on East st. Bernard Highway, a depth and
front of Jacob Drive of 158.12 feet, a width in the rear 31.83 feet and a
depth on the opposite side line of 141.88' feet. 
And, Lot Z-1-B commences at a distance of 158.12 feet from the intersection
of the St. Bernard Highway and Jacob Drive and measures thence 141.88 feet
front on Jacob Drive, with a width in the rear of 158.12 feet, by a depth of
31.83 feet on the side nearer the st. Bernard Highway and a depth of 35.74
feet on the opposite side. 
 
And, Lot M-2 commences 300 feet from the corner of Jacob Drive and St.
Bernard Highway, measures 
thence 50 feet front on Jacob Drive, the same width in the rear, by a depth
of 143.44 feet between equal and parallel lines. 
 
2300 block of East St. Bernard Highway, corner of Jacob Drive.
