Why don't our stupid officials quit messing with homeowners and do something
with the blighted businesses?  The strip malls, the whole mess by Hannan
Blvd. and the rest of them. How do they expect people back and have to drive
past that every day

I would like to say thank you Jerry for what you have said.

I am not just sitting by doing nothing with my home, but I have been
through hell trying to rebuild at the pace my finances allow without the
parish trying to tear my house down. I am one of those who have been on the
demolition list but have been working on my house. I live on my property
and keep up my property.
My house has had the yellow sticker with the big red "x" on it. I have had
to cry and beg to keep my house from being demoed.
Right now I have a repreive, but will have to go through it all again March
31st if I have not completed my house by then.

All of my extra money and time goes to the house.
