More than 400 attend the St. Bernard Parish President and First Lady 

Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday, April 5 at Torres Park 

 

Under warm and balmy skies, more than 400 people attended the St. Bernard
Parish President and First Lady Easter Egg Hunt on Palm Sunday, April 5 at
Torres Park.

 

More than 2,400 candy-filled plastic Easter eggs were hidden in Torres Park
behind the government complex in Chalmette, and the event also included face
painting, Easter crafts and Easter basket give-aways.

 

Parish President Craig Taffaro and his wife Debbie, who have eight children,
sponsored the event for children ages 0 to 9 with separate hunts for
children ages 0 to 4 and for those who are 5 to 9.
