"Fuel" Middle School Program continues to bring students together

Sixth through eighth grade students watch 'Up' and play games at City Park

"Fuel," the youth program created by St. Bernard Parish President Craig
Taffaro's Office, held its second summer event at AMC Clearview Palace 12
and City Park. Middle School students gathered together to watch the movie
'Up,' followed by lunch and games in City Park. Students played cabbage
ball, kickball, Frisbee, and other games throughout the afternoon.

The next events planned for middle school students are a trip to the Audubon
Zoo on July 14th and a trip to the mall and Skate Country on July 29th.
Parents can register their children by contacting Abbey Flaherty at
224-1653.

In order to attend, each student must submit a signed waiver form by their
legal parent/guardian. Waivers can be found online at www.sbpg.net
<http://www.sbpg.net/> under the Recreation Department, or at the
registration table. Waivers are valid for one year from date signed.
Students will not be admitted without a waiver.
