St. Bernard Parish to pick up Christmas trees for coastal restoration

Pick up dates are Thursday, Friday and Monday 

 

St. Bernard Parish Government will be picking up trees for its coastal
restoration project, but residents must clear trees of any lights,
decorations or tinsel. Only green trees can be used in the marsh. No flocked
trees will be used.

 

In order for trees to be picked up for the coastal restoration project, they
should be put on the curb on the following days:

 

*	Thursday, January 7: New Orleans/Arabi parish line to Paris Road.
*	Friday, January 8: Paris Road to Colonial Boulevard. 
*	Monday, January 11: Colonial Boulevard to the southern and eastern
ends of the parish.
