Power 102.9 radio station teams with House of Blues to hold benefit concert
for St. Bernard Parish on June 18

As a result of the BP Gulf Oil Spill, help to the people of St. Bernard and
other affected Louisiana parishes has come from a variety of sources. One
unlikely source is the hip hop community and Citadel Broadcasting's radio
station KKND-FM (Power 102.9). Power has teamed with the House of Blues New
Orleans and the office of St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro, Jr.
to produce the Power to the Parish on Friday, June 18, 2010.

This incredible event showcases national hip hop superstars J Cole
(Columbia/ Roc Nation), the California Swag District (Capitol Records),
Juvenile (E1 Entertainment), rising local star Kourtney Heart and Currency.
In addition, the Power 102.9 DJ's serve as host and mixers for the event.

"Two of our radio cluster's broadcast towers rest in St. Bernard Parish and
we thought it only natural to use our resources to help," KKND Program
Director LeBron Joseph said. "Considering that Power is a station that
caters to young people in our community, our desire was to do something that
benefited the kids of The Parish."

Cross Parish Connection, a hip hop band from St. Bernard Parish, will be the
opening act.

"It's also great to have a group from the parish open the show," Joseph
said.

Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and the House of Blues Box
office. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Violet Park No. 2 playground
equipment, which is part of the St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department.
