You probably know that I have been supporting The St. Bernard Project as
they help rebuild my pre-Katrina community in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.
Thus far, using volunteer labor from all over the globe, they have rebuilt
just under 300 homes for people who otherwise would not have been able to
return home. They currently have 50 homes in various stages of completion
and have more than a hundred on their waiting list.

I have gotten to know the people at this organization first hand and love
what they do and how they do it.

In response to the recent oil spill that has thrown hundreds of Southeast
Louisiana fishermen and their families into literal states of depression and
despair, The Project has established a mental health clinic to help the
residents cope with the devastation they have suffered and most likely will
continue to suffer for years to come. Here's how you can help.

Pepsi (the soft drink company) has offered to jump start funding of this
clinic with up to $250,000. All you have to do is visit
refresheverything.com/sbp <http://refresheverything.com/sbp> and vote. You
will have to register with an e mail address (I gave them my junk e mail
address) but that's it. It cost you NOTHING. You can vote every day for up
to 10 days.

If The Project's program finishes in the top two of the programs, they will
receive $250,000. They are currently in third place. Please help push them
up the line.

Please consider visiting the site and voting daily for the next 10 days.
Also please forward this E mail to anyone who you think would help. The
contest ends on 8/31. I'd appreciate it and the fishemen of St. Bernard,
their wives and children will appreciate it as well.

Thank you. If you have any questions, give me a call and I'll happily
answer any questions you may have.

Paul V. Perez
