the nonprofit Community Center of St Bernard will be distributing
free computers to 25 oil spill-affected residents on March 2, 2011 at
2 PM. 

We would like to welcome you to attend the presentation event which
will be held at the Community Center of St Bernard, 1111 LeBeau St,
in Arabi, LA. 

Residents will receive refurbished desktop computers with:

•	Pentium 4 processors
•	512 Mb RAM
•	20 Gb Hard Drives
•	Optical drive
•	Windows XP Professional SP3
•	OpenOffice suite
•	CLAMAV antivirus
•	Anti-spyware tools
•	Educational games

The computers are being provided by the CACRC and distributed through
the Community Center of St Bernard. 

In addition to being affected by the oil spill, everyone who is
receiving a computer on March 2 has completed the first online
session of the FDIC’s Money Smart Financial Literacy Course. It is
hoped that this financial literacy training will help them use their
oil spill claims awards wisely.
