Wayne,

Nothing gets posted on here without me reading it first. This accomplishes a
number of different things, but foremost, it prevents spam from infiltrating
the list and it allows me to know, to a certain degree, who is posting what.

With over 600 subscribers to this list, I do not know everyone, but I at
least have some knowledge of the majority of the people who post to this
list. With the amount of emails I go thru every day, I don't always read
every email in its entirety. Often, I look at the sender and scan the body.
If I recognize the sender and don't glimpse any semblance of a personal
attack, I let the email thru.

Not all emails are signed. Some by choice and some by habit.

Not one of the emails you have sent to the list were signed by you. I had to
add your name to the email when sending it thru so that people could see
that it was you sending it since that seemed to be your intention.

Questioning the validity of whether or not permission was granted to place a
sign does NOT constitute a personal attack in my opinion.

This particular thread has had a longer life than I thought it would, but
that is mainly because your supporters kept bringing it back up.

Every election cycle always seems to have some argument over signs. Some
politicians seem to be a little more aggressive in the placement of signs
than others. Thru fate or whatever, you got caught up in this particular
battle. If you cannot weather this particular little rain cloud, what would
make the voters of St. Bernard think you could handle the heavier demands of
being Sheriff?

Since this all started, I think there a few lessons everyone can learn:

1) Don't judge a candidate by the number and/or placement of signs.

2) Don't judge a candidate by their parents.

3) Pay attention to what is said as well as what is not said.

4) Form your own opinion about a candidate.

5) If someone is endorsing or not endorsing a candidate, and you want to be
influenced by the endorsement, find out the relationship. Does the person
making the endorsement have any skin in the game?

If you don't like my list, you are free to drop off just as easily you
joined, it doesn't make any difference to me.

And, just for the record, last weekend you asked for me to call you. I
returned your call and got your voicemail. I left my name and number. Five
days later, the only response is this email. Is this what the voters of St.
Bernard can look forward to if you are elected as the next Sheriff of St.
Bernard Parish?

Nice slam that you have allowed to be fabricated to the public. I challenge
you to list ANY property where I have a sign without permission. It is
unfortunate that this site will allow such unsubstantiated allegations
purely for the point of discrediting me and/or my campaign. I joined this
site because I thought it had credibility, but to allow this post without a
persons name indicates to me, that this is no different than NOLA. Shame on
who ever wrote this fabrication.
