St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce will host three Political Forums in the
Council Chambers



The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce will host three political forums at the
St. Bernard Council Chambers with coverage of all local races that impact
St. Bernard Parish. The forums on Thurs., Sept. 29, Wed., Oct. 5 and Wed.,
Oct. 12 will be from 6 to 9 p.m. in the chambers at 8201 W. Judge Perez
Drive in Chalmette.



. On Thurs., Sept. 29, the forum will include candidates in the
following races: state Senate and House of Representatives seats, Justice of
the Peace and the Councilman-At-Large East and West positions.



. On Wed., Oct. 5, the forum will include candidates from the
following races: St. Bernard Parish President, Sheriff, Assessor, and Clerk
of Court.



. On Wed., Oct.12, the forum will include the candidates for all of
the St. Bernard Parish Council seats.



The public is invited, but please note that this forum will not include an
endorsement. The forum is designed to be informational and to provide the
community and residents the opportunity to learn about the candidates and
elections which impact St. Bernard. For more information, visit the

The public is invited to listen to the candidates only. The public will not
be allowed to wear, distribute or display any colors, logos, signs,
literature, showing support for any candidate. Additionally, the public will
be respectful of all candidates and will refrain from any form of
interruption. Questions will not be taken from the floor. Failure by either
the public or the candidates to follow the rules will result in removal from
the forum.
