Just a quick note for everyone on our list - I've just posted two more
bamboo-shanked Morta Classics to the catalog here:

This closes out morta production for the moment. We have finally
managed to get a little ahead of the demand and get some pipes in STOCK
as opposed to simply turning them over, so it's time to turn our
attention to other projects - I know Emily has some LB work to do.
Speaking of Ligne Bretagnes, I posted a Collector a few days ago, after
the last mailing notice. It has a little story attached, as most of
them do, and one can see it here:

This one is a particularly good deal because it's a handmade, rusticated
churchwarden for a price down in the range of the standard-production
LBs. Eventually, I hope to do a set of photos of the process by which I
am shaping and drilling pipes today, since it is similar to the Danish
method but quite different in some respects. If I can put together some
pics, I may contact Ken Lamb also to see if he'd be interested in trying
to create some copies of this tooling for sale, though it would be a
complex and expensive task, I fear.
That's it for now - Thanks for your time!
