Talbert Pipes- Four new Ligne Bretagne Uniques (Churchwarden time!)

Hello all!  It's been a busy month here at the Talbert workshop - Seems
like it's been quite a while since the last update on the 6th.  That's
because we've spent most of our month making Ligne Bretagne Classics for
orders... Who would have imagined that if we said, "You can order a Ligne
Bretagne Classic and we'll make it just for you", that people would
actually DO it :D  But, we've been working on other projects too, and also
managed to make four new Ligne Bretagne Uniques (These are the ones that
are one-of-a-kind, rather than made-to-order).  You can see the new ones

And yes, clearly Autumn churchwarden/fantasy pipe season is already here at
our workshop!  Three of the four new pipes are churchwarden variants, and
the fourth is a beautiful long-stemmed bent bulldog.

Speaking of churchwardens, we are nearly sold out of that long-stemmed
limited-run Ligne Bretagne Classic model, the #1604LBS.  I've got enough
materials here for six more of them and then they're all gone, so order one
soon if you want one:

The rest of the new Ligne Bretagne Classics (made to order) have been
selling nicely!  To quickly repeat from the last announcement, these are
standardized designs that we make to order right here in our shop - No
'Sold' signs on these, when you order one, it will be made just for you.

Of the four, the only slow seller has been the one I thought would be most
popular, naturally, LOL... :D  The #1602LBS squat bulldog hasn't sold a
single pipe yet - I've still got the original photo-model sitting here on
my desk waiting for a buyer!  And here I figured a chunky squat bulldog
with a wide bowl would be a big hit - Never can guess the market!  This is
the one I'm speaking of:

This does bring me to an observation about these Ligne Bretagne Classics,
though - They're not guaranteed to be permanently available.  I'll be
keeping an eye on sales for the individual shapes as the months pass, and
any that don't sell particularly well will get pulled from the site and no
longer made.  The whole idea of being able to offer them at their
discounted prices is built around time savings in producing multiples of
them at a time, so if I've got a model that's selling one pipe every month,
there's no production benefits to making it.  This bulldog is the first
design on which the clock is now ticking.

That's it for the moment but look for more fun stuff as we get into
